“i mean, you and me in this bed all day, all on our, it’s gonna be a challenge,” he paused, arms wrapping around his boyfriends waist, pulling his body in close to his own, as he kissed the other back ever so gently. “but you know me, i’m always up for a challenge.”
“Oh, a challenge huh?” Bryan quirked an eyebrow at his boyfriend, grinning lightly as he was pulled closer, and humming at the returned kiss. “Well, I’d hoped you’d say that. Otherwise I’d be a little sad. I’m sure this is one challenge that you’ll manage perfectly, right?” He nuzzled their noses together gently, looking so in love with the other boy.
Bryan looked up as the door to their room opened, tilting his head a little at seeing Miller already stripping his guard jacket off and making his way towards the bed. Concern appeared on his features and he got up from the desk where he’d been writing, quickly moving to crawl onto the bed with his boyfriend and wrap his arms around him.
“Of course,” he stated gently, kissing Nate’s cheek and cuddling up against his side, resting his chin on the older boy’s shoulder. “… Do you want to tell me what happened, or would you just like to curl up in quiet?” He nuzzled him a little, “You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to. I’m sorry that you had a bad day.”
Bryan had gone to the party in hopes of getting Nate’s attention. They had some mutual friends, and had hung around each other, but had never really interacted much on their own. Still, Nate had caught Bryan’s eye and the boy couldn’t help but be smitten with the older boy. If only he could get his attention, maybe he could work up the courage to talk to him more.
The alcohol had been flowing, the Blake apartment full of their friends and friends of friends, everyone having a great time and lots of laughter and noise. Bryan had a cup in hand, though it only had water in it. The last thing he wanted to do was get drunk and make a fool of himself in front of everyone, especially his crush. He could only imagine what would happen then.
Wandering towards the kitchen again, Bryan was shocked to find himself suddenly pressed up against the wall, hands holding his shoulders firmly in place, and lips on his. His eyes were wide with surprise at seeing Nate was the one kissing him, and for a second he let himself relax and start to kiss back, only stopping at tasting the alcohol on Nate’s lips.
“S-stop,” He managed out shakily, turning his head to break the kiss and pushing Nate away from him. “Don’t, Not… not when you’re drunk. I don’t want you to regret this,” He stated faintly, “Please don’t..”
“you say that like it’s a bad thing. guess you’re just going to have to stay in bed all day with me.”
“I’m not saying it like it’s a bad thing; it’s a very good thing. I’m just letting you know that you’re going to have to let me stay here in bed with you all day and cuddle me,” Bryan chuckled out, shifting a little to kiss Nathan gently, “You’re amazing, and you should know that too.”
“You should do it more often, ‘cause it’s a pretty great view.” Nate gave Bryan a smile, before his hand was stretching out to intertwine their fingers together.
“Oh? Well, I like my view right now a lot better,” Bryan chuckled and smiled back at Nate, taking the other’s hand and squeezing it gently.
Bryan chuckled softly from where he was half-sitting on the bed, feeling Miller’s arms around him. “It’s already almost ten, Nate,” He stated softly, “And I promised Pike that I’d get up and help him with some inventory on what seeds and stuff we’ve got here. I’m sure he already thinks I’m flaking out. We can meet for lunch if you’ve got time? Spend some time here before your shift starts?” He tilted his head to look at Nate, offering him a gentle smile.
