The world as Clarke, Bellamy, and all of the others they knew, wasn’t as it seemed. Thinking that they’d survived to the ground, survived Mount Weather, and survived Praimfiya, they were desperate to survive the Damocles bomb hurtling towards the earth. But the door wasn’t closing fast enough, and the engine wouldn’t engage; leaving them stuck on the earth as the bomb exploded everything in it’s path. The ship exploded, everything went dark…
Then the Credits began to roll.
The year is 2040. The world is in trouble, with the threat of terrorists, nuclear war, and total decimation. Scientists have been trying hard to research and plan out ways to save the human race. People have volunteered to be a part of a simulation for the research. The 100, The Ark, Mount Weather, The Bunker, Praimfiya, all of it has been part of the simulation. Once someone dies in the simulation, they are shown the credits and receive their real memories back.
After that, it’s up to them to figure out how to live in a world that’s on the brink of the war they had thought already happened. How will they react?—————————————-
This group is canon-divergent and basically a ‘reboot’ of The 100. It’s based off a theory/idea that I found and elaborated on, found HERE. All of the canon events up until the very end of Season 5 have happened in the simulation, the only difference is the ship didn’t make it off the earth, and instead everyone ended up waking up from the simulation instead. Basically it’s a modern verse, with all their knowledge of what happened in the simulation, and them trying to go back to life as normal, knowing that there might be another war to fight.
What is going to happen is that it’s set in a large apartment complex. Each family is going to get their own apartment to stay in for the length of the study (not just the simulation, but for the entire time the scientists need them). So when they all wake up, they’ll easily be able to go visit their ‘new’ friends and basically be like a modern apartment verse.
Mainly, I want to focus on the modern aspect of all of these people that didn’t know each other in the real world, suddenly having such strong bonds due to their time together in the simulation; and those that did know each other in the real world and simulation, getting to reunite with their loved ones that are actually still alive. There will be plot drops with big events happening later on, but I wanted to focus on the characters and their loved ones first.
