from the bottom of my heart, please know,
that i’d appreciate being slammed against a wall with your hand down my pants and your breath against my neck saying that I am yours and only yours
although bryan had been in a sour mood when he walked in the door, octavia couldn’t help the smirk that appeared on her lips as he talked about just winging it. it was exactly the attitude the young brunette loved. besides, bryan needed a fun time. “exactly!” she laughed, leaning her shoulder against the wall as emerald hues followed bryan around the room. “see, this is the perfect idea,” she admitted. much better than the night she had planned out where there would most likely be a chance she could cause some sort of trouble. spend too much money and make stupid decisions. spending her time in with bryan was definitely the better option. “cool, we can pull all our blankets and shit out here to make the living room comfy for the night, you ready?” she asks, cocking her head towards the door.
Bryan felt better at seeing the smirk on Octavia’s face, knowing for sure that they would have fun and his bad mood would go away quickly. “I do have some pretty great ideas most of the time,” He stated with a grin in her direction, “You have to admit that, right?” He finished grabbing his bag and getting ready to go to the store, making sure his card was still in his wallet. “Yes!” He looked up and bounced a little almost at her words, “We can make a complete blanket fort with it and it’ll be cozy and perfect.” He moved after her, playfully pushing her a little as they headed out of his room and towards the door to the apartment.
The frown upon his face was apparent at the stammered sentence, te statement that NOBODY had hit him. A disbelieving scoff was given, a roll of stormy hues before he looked the other over. Bryan, wasn’t it? He hadn’t been part of the delinquents… But he had been around Nathan, right? “ Do you even know how to properly lie? ” he finally drawled, giving the other an unimpressed stare before he sighed and let his hand rub over his neck for a second. “ So. What’s happened? Rhetorically speaking… You know. If it WAS someone who did this to you. ” he added, strolling over at the other.
Bryan wasn’t surprised at all when Murphy scoffed at him; he should have thought before he opened his mouth, of course the other didn’t believe him with what he’d said. When Murphy asked the question, he let out his own scoff, looking up at him and wrinkling his nose a little. No, he thought to himself, he’d always been pretty shit at lying, even when he was hiding things from Pike and Miller, it’d been super difficult. “… Rhetorically speaking, if it was, then I may have said something that someone didn’t like,” He stated slowly after a long minute, “But that’s a rhetorical thing which didn’t happen, but if it did, I was just repeating what Pike said about them.”
bou wasn’t used to be being cooped up. he needed distractions. he needed to be, you know, distracted from the fact every bone in his body wants to open up the latch and escape. even though it would probably be the stupidest decision he’d ever make. he’ll let out a content hum as he moves to sit upwards, stretching his arms over his head with a loud grunt. act natural, pretend ya’ fine. “what kinda stuff did ya’ knit? can ya’ knit me a hat?” he’ll motion towards the notorious old saints cap on his hat. “it gets cold in ya’ neck of the woods. y’all get snow ‘n shit. i ain’t ready for snow.” it was a rarity for them to get snow in gadakru area. rain? you betcha. snow? no way!
Bryan shifted as Bou did, watching the other with a soft smile, admiring him as he moved. “Yeah,” He couldn’t help the grin that crossed his face at hearing the other’s question, “i’m sure there’s some stuff around here that I can use to knit with. I used to knit hats and sweaters and blankets.” A wince appeared when Bou mentioned the cold and snow, that not being something Bryan liked to remember. “I can do that for you though, it’ll be a good hat,” He hummed, trying to push the memory to the back of his mind of knitting Nate’s hat.
“you say that like it’s a bad thing. guess you’re just going to have to stay in bed all day with me.”
“I’m not saying it like it’s a bad thing; it’s a very good thing. I’m just letting you know that you’re going to have to let me stay here in bed with you all day and cuddle me,” Bryan chuckled out, shifting a little to kiss Nathan gently, “You’re amazing, and you should know that too.”
