Louis’ face was completely stricken, one would think Bryan had just suggested murdering Louis’ puppy by the way his face dropped in horror. “If you stomp on my sandcastle I’ll murder you.” He said with dead seriousness before bursting into laughter.
The pause wasn’t lost on Louis ( though admittedly a lot was ) but he didn’t press it; Bryan would tell him what he wanted to tell him, it was a philosophy he lived his life by and he saw no reason to change that now. “That’s fair.” He said, his physical focus completely on the sand castle he was shaping and smoothing with his sandy hands. “Although I have to say I am always of the opinion that punching helps relieve stress.” He laughed.
“You know,” he broached, “Mandy and I have a hotel room behind us, at the Breakwater. Maia’s joined the crew and I think ‘Dessa is too, if you don’t mind rooming with a bunch of people you’re welcome to the two queens we pushed together.”
Bryan had just raised an eyebrow at Louis when the other looked stricken like that; because he didn’t believe that the other hadn’t done that, and if he hadn’t, then Bryan was just going to become concerned. He snorted and rolled his eyes when the other started laughing, playfully sticking his tongue out. “And what if I do and take off running before you can catch me to murder me?” He questioned innocently.
Although he’d thought about saying the names, Bryan wasn’t going to push it. After all, it wasn’t worth it anyway; that and he was still trying to be good about it. He hadn’t gone with nair after them, and he hadn’t started a fight yet; which was good, because he was not about to get his ass kicked on this vacation, or any other day, thank you. He wasn’t stupid, and he was kind of afraid of them. He was grateful for the way Louis just accepted it and continued working on the sand castle, as Bryan sat down and watched.
“… Really?” The hopefulness in his voice was high, because well, that would solve a lot of things if he didn’t have to tiptoe around the house for fear of a war breaking out or something. “I don’t mind at all, and I’m pretty sure they’ve all bunked with me at some point anyway so it’s cool. Honestly, that’s amazing and I will so take you up on that. That sounds a lot better than walking around on eggshells.” He reached out then, to start helping with the sandcastle.
“somehow?” she asks, eyebrows raising in her roommate’s direction. “what, don’t think i’m smart enough to be a lawyer?” she asks again, although the question’s a very loaded question. was there even a right way to answer it? luckily however, her quick defence seems to lower as bryan continues to thread his fingers through her hair, twisting them into braids. “now there’s a perfect idea – everyone should do that b, thanks for the idea.” she gleams, her body wiggling ever so slightly like she’s won something. when he offers up the suggestion of having an adventure with less alcohol, octavia actually can’t help but think it’s a great idea. sure. her life was fun. her nights were even better. but sometimes she liked to just enjoy the adventure, instead of the parties. “mmm, milkshakes,” she hums, her tongue wetting her lower lip. “can i stay here tonight – then we get started tomorrow?”
Bryan blinked, looking a little confused as Octavia raised her eyebrows at him. “What?” He asked, lost, “I never said that. I think you’re plenty smart enough to be a lawyer. I’m just saying, if you choose to become one, because right now you’re not.” He shrugged lightly, chuckling as she then began to relax. “I am full of good ideas,” He agreed then, “Maybe we put out a floor wide bulletin that everyone has to do that.” He continued to braid her hair, grinning as she agreed about the milkshakes; and nodded almost instantly at her question. “Of course,” He chuckled, “We can get some sleep and then first thing in the morning, after breakfast of course, we can get started on planning out that adventure.”
“Only my name, gorgeous.” Hector pressed Bryan back against the closed door to his apartment, thankful for the privacy instantly. He tossed his jacket off his shoulders, then tugged at the other man’s. “Over and over and over.” he said, lowering his lips to pull at exposed skin at Bryan’s neck. A hand worked pulling at the fabric between them, the other planting on the small of his back, pulling him close. “I wanna make you feel so good.”
Bryan let out a hum as Hector pressed him back against the door, smirking at his words. “You’re going to leave me so breathless that all I’ll be able to manage out is your name, huh?” He chuckled, helping to get his jacket off and tossing it aside, “Until I can’t speak anymore?” He licked his lips, tilting his head to give Hector more access to his neck. His hands gripped at the other’s shirt and then at his jeans, as if desperate to get both off and not sure which was going to come off first. He pressed close to Hector when the other pulled him close, hooking a leg around him slightly. “You always make me feel so good, handsome,” He purred out.
“Here?” Hector’s lips pulled into a smile, centimeters from Bryan’s. “We could get caught here. Any of your people wandering past. Any of mine.” he let his hands drift across Bryan’s too tight shirt, tugging at the hem. Hector pulled the offending garment up, letting his warm fingers drift the expanse of Bryan’s well toned stomach. “You really want to risk someone seeing you, panting and begging for me, all strung out on my touch?”
Bryan couldn’t help the grin that pulled at his lips, at hearing Hector’s words. “You act like I care right now about people catching us,” He chuckled out breathlessly, arching up against the other man as he felt his hands tugging his shirt up. He shivered at the touch, licking his lips and his face flushing red. Of course Bryan cared, he really wasn’t one for such a thing out in the open, but he’d also been working all day and finding a way to get someplace quiet and away from others was always difficult down here. “You wouldn’t want to show off your skills in making me melt under you?” He hummed out innocently, his own hands moving to grip at Hector’s shirt, glancing down the hallway and then back; just to make sure no one was going to actually come by.
